This type is similar to Pole Mallakhamb, but as the name indicates, wooden pole, smaller in length than the standard Pole Mallakhamb is suspended or hung with the aid of hooks and chain, leaving a gap between the ground and the bottom of the Mallakhamb. Hanging Mallakhamb is 170-190 cms of height. It's base is about 65-70 cms above ground. So it moves like a pendullam and also rotates about itself. So performing on Hanging Mallakhamb is comparatively more difficult.
